Welcome to the Mac Mag online!

The Macmillan Magazine online is a free online publication produced each term by the Teacher Training Department of Macmillan ELT, Spain. It aims to provide teachers with a place to share ideas and experiences. Teachers from all sectors are invited to submit articles or tips on any area related to teaching.

Articles are categorized according to level (Primary, Secondary and General) plus our specialised sections such as the CLIL Corner and our new Digitips section. There's also our new TT blog. And don't miss our selection of Website tips including our Days to celebrate and This day in history sections.

Have a good summer!

This Issue...

PRIMARY: Using Engish during the summer holiday

Ten weeks without an English class is a long time! But that doesn't necessarily mean ten weeks with no contact with English. Mark Ormerod has some fun ideas to keep your pupils in touch with English during the summer.

SECONDARY: New kids on the blog!

Technology is making increasing roads into the English classroom and more and more teachers are setting up their own class blogs. Ester Boldú shares some blogging tips with us.
